My name is Kelly, I am the owner of dirty paws and have been grooming now for over 13years!!! I still have the same love I have for my job that I had when I started 13years ago! I am owned by 3 Shih Tzus (Ruby,Barry and Deedee!) and my gouldians finches and now my daughter Evelyn who is almost 10months! My husband rob is my rock and can be seen pottering around now and again whilst we are working in our recently renovated salon! We have worked hard to establish a fabulous clientele with both the doggies and their wonderful owners who are considered friends more so then clients! This is because we provide a personal service, we work as one on one dog groomers where we like to take our time with each dog to get to know their personalities and build up a great relationship, this doesn’t just involve grooming the dog but letting them have some freedom to get used to their surroundings to let them settle in easier in our outside space or my garden.I look forward to meeting you soon!
Get to know us!
Introducing the lovely Hannah (pictured left) and brilliant kerri (pictured right) these 2 ladies are my right hand ladies! Hannah has been with me since she was 15/16 and will be turning 21 this year! She helps us out with bathing,drying,brushing and keeping the salon plodding along! She is currently studying animal behaviour and welfare at Chester uni, but still finds time to help us out when she gets home in between her studies! Hannah has 2 lovely pet rabbits called daisy and Lily.And loves animals just as much as us! Kerri has been with me roughly the past 4/5years and is my chief assistant, helping with bathing,drying,brushing,nail clipping,anal gland emptying and prep before they come for a cut with me! Kerri is owned by her 3 children faith,Charlie and Harry and her animal babies, Nova the standard poodle, Lexi and scamp the chihuahuas, Tizzy,Rosie ginger,and ninja the cats and some pet fish aswell! She also has her partner Adam by her side too! Also another keen animal lover! These girls have built up fabulous relationships with the dogs that come to us for our pampering aswell as their owners and treat them like their own just as much as I do! * Drying ( using no cage dryers)
* Ear Cleaning
* Nail Clipping
* Anal Glands
* Clipping/Trimming
* We also offer a bath and brush session for dogs in between clips ( this is ideal for owners struggling to brush their dogs at home)
We use a variety of shampoos designed for your dogs coat type and skin condition.
Please also bring any veterinary prescribed shampoo, as we can use these in the grooming process, without upsetting any known skin problems.
We also do not use cages or dryer cages, and dogs are offered fresh water and wee breaks in between grooming if needed!!
